Week Three - Bullyfree Week

This week at Waikowhai we are embracing the first ever Bullying free New Zealand Week.  So far we have looked at a variety of activities to further develop our awareness and become even better citizens.  We have drafted posters for our pink t-shirts, brainstormed key adjectives to describe our class and presented these on paddles for a waka that we will display.  Today we had fun with thinglink, describing ourselves so that people know us better and may be less inclined to bully us.  We have also collaborated to generate lots of ways to help others on a padlet (see below).  We are in the process of creating helping hands wordclouds using our magnificent ideas.  Check back later in the week for more sharing of the learning and creating activities.

I think that what you are trying to achieve is amazing.
Great job using the padlet, it's pretty cool to use to show your ideas. I really like Roberts idea.
Something that you could possibly improve is the spaces and the squiggles in between the words on the padlet, but any way fabulous job I'll be sure to come back.

  2. Hi Room 8
I am Reagan from Mamaku. You have a lot of good ideas and your own opinions about being bully free. It was a good idea to use the padlet. What else did you do in Bully Free Week?

My name's Franklin. I'm one of the students in Mamaku.
I think it's a great idea to have a bully free week.
    Is it working?

  4. Hi my name is kaine and I think this is so cool that you embraced all of this stuff. I really think that it was amazing of how much you did on your padlet. How many kids did you need to do that much on padlet?
